Please before applying, please read the following:

-All participants in pageant must be born female

-Every city AND COUNTY  in each state can be represented, however there will only be ONE city delegate per division/per city/county per pageant year.

-Participant may represent any city where she lives, works, attends school, church, spends significant time, or has extended family. This requirement is the same for the state level as well. Participants who are in military families can represent their home city/state as well, or any state/city where significant time is spent or where she has extended family.

-A participant must hold a city title to compete in the state competition and a state title to compete in the national pageant.

-Delegates may switch divisions at state and national levels if they meet age guidelines (age up) or change marital status.

-Participants are not required to advance to the state level or the national level of the competition if they choose not to, these are separate competitions.  There are no application fees for any levels, but to accept a title on each level (if selected,) a sash purchase is required for appearances as an official delegate. Tiaras are NOT required, however, only official tiaras purchased through our program may be worn with our sashes. Delegates may wear ANY official My Girl U.S.A./America's Leading Edge Woman, Teen, Pre-Teen tiara with any My Girl U.S.A./America's Leading Edge Woman, Teen, Pre-Teen sash.

-We send all local title holders information regarding their next level of competition in advance so they have plenty of time to apply for their next level title. Every city queen has the option to apply for her state's queen title in June. Judging is not based on outer beauty, but instead by how much each city queen got involved in her hometown. Activities, such as food drives, clothing drives, appearances at hometown festivals, and volunteering all count in the competition. Delegates will send in activity logs and their applications prior to the June queen selections and all judging will be based on those materials submitted. National Queens will be selected each March  with selections being based on activity logs sent in by all reigning state queens who wish to be considered for their division's national title. There are NO application fees states OR nationals, however if an applicant IS selected as state queen/or national queen in her division, to accept the title, she will be required to purchase her state sash for her appearances as state queen.  We are looking for delegates who really made an effort to better their communities. Delegates need to be creative when finding their activities and select those that will make a difference and inspire others to give back.

-Mini Pageants held throughout the year (Miss Hometown Holiday, Miss Shamrock, Miss Little Lady Liberty, Pumpkin Patch Princess etc) are open to current title holders and NON current title holders.

-Former delegates may apply for open state/national titles on an At Large Basis when there is no eligible delegate for the title

-Any delegate who falsifies information will be disqualified from the competition with no refunds of any kind

-Delegates may not wear their sashes when: smoking, vaping, consuming alcoholic beverages.
